Update (yes, I am still alive)

Well...it's been about 5 months since I last updated...crazy I know. Since then I have been working at Wolverine Human Services in Vassar, MI....a job I have come to despise with all my being. I thought at first that it wasn't going to be so bad, I mean, I am helping delinquents right? Well, it wasn't so bad, but what sucked was working a job

Hey, you could come work at the hospital. That's what I'm doing now, and I'm getting ready to quit now that the London situation looks clearer. You float between the psych ward and the addictions unit, and you make some pretty good $$$. All you need is a BSW.

Which hospital? Lapeer? Because you have no idea how great that would be. How much are you pulling in, and when can I send in a Resume?

Yes, Lapeer. You'd probably start out as a "relief" Behavioral Health Technician, but I know Rose is still trying to retire, and she works full time on day shift (7-3:30), so that spot may pop up as a full time gig for you. But you didn't hear that from me. Which would be great if you could make full time, because they have the best health insurance I've ever seen in my life, and I've worked everywhere. It made me drool with jealousy. No office co pays, full coverage on vision and dental (you wouldn't have to pay a dime for contacts!!!)....but anyway, where was I

Oh and I forgot to tell you. They may not have the "BHT" position posted in the Human Resources book yet, but that doesn't mean we don't need them. And don't get discouraged. I filled out my application, did the interview, and everything else the beginning of November, and I thought they forgot about me. It wasn't until December 12th I was officially hired.
