I made a lot of progress on the bathroom cabinet today. Hinges are hard! It looks like I might be able to get the cabinet completely done by the weekend. It is mostly assembled now. It will need patching (over counter sunken screws) and some sanding along the front, prime and paint, puzzle like assembly (seriously), and then those little tiny ( Read more... ) -
An update of sorts....
The other day I managed to get the jungle net and canopy frane up and working, mostly all by myself. I had gotten the canopy frame for free on Freecycle, a newsgroup of people giving away stuff for free in your local area. It is a 10 X 20 foot frame with 6 legs and is all white powder coated metal so it should hold up a lot better than those ( Read more... ) -

Alight change in today's plans...
So today I was just going to resweep, swiffer and then mop the floor in the front bedroom. As I went to get the Mucrphy's Oil Soap out, I cam across a bottle of floor sealer. So as I mopped, I pondered using it. It was one of those apply with a smooth even coat and let it dry (20-30 minutes) and you are done types. So after I finished mopping ( Read more... )
