When I die, will I have left my mark on history? Will others, upon seeing my name, be filled with a feeling of great pride? Will I die a warrior's death in a historic battle, turning the tide at the last moment? Will my works be published and known world-wide? I've always thought it was more important that your life touch the people you love. The ones who will really miss you when you're gone. I think for some people it's too bad they can't go to their own burrial. I mean, I didn't know how many people cared for my husband until he died. But I do realize how true and good and caring my friends are when stuff like that happens. They were there for me. As with the fire, everyone who could help helped. And that's what's important in life. Though it is nice if you leave something behind that strangers will one day look at and go "Wow." It's just never been a goal of mine. Maybe I'm lazy.
