Japanese and mice

I just came home. This itself is not very interesting, I know. But: Mum came to me and said: "Ah, Mrs. Pinkert speaks Japanese, did you know that?!" Mrs. Pinkert is our neighbour, she's about 60 yrs. old, 1,40 m 'tall' and disabled. I was surprised as she is not the type for speaking Japanese and having an own library full of books about Japan. - I

I'm sorry to hear that. Sadly both mice and rats are very prone to get tumors. There's nothing strange about crying for Sherry, you've had her for more than 3 years! I cried for my goldfish too. Had her for 4 or 5 years already when she died :(

Gah, und solche Tierärzte (bzw. auch andere Menschen) könnt ich schlagen, die nach dem Motto rangehen "Ist doch nur ne Maus/Ratte". Zum Glück habe ich einen sehr lieben Tierarzt, der auch ganz viel Ahnung von Ratten hat und alles für sie tut, was geht.
