So, even though I am a FIrefly/Buffy/Dr. Horrible fan, I had completely forgotten Mr. Whedon's tendency to kill off recurring characters.
This article reminded me of that grisly heartrending fact, so I only have this plea:  please don't kill Thor.   Chris Hemsworth is too pretty to die.

Well, the Big Three are safe - Thor, Iron Man, and Cap - because they've all got upcoming movie sequels. So Chris Hemsworth can safely continue being awesome. ^_^ It's possible that Hulk won't live, as I've heard nothing about another Hulk movie. I just really, really, really hope he doesn't kill off Agent Coulson. We need an "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." movie, with him and Nick Fury and Maria Hill, that's just two hours of them being badass agent types.

Also: is it wrong that whenever someone uses the phrase "too pretty to die", my next thought is "POLKA WILL NEVER DIE!"?
