As I mentioned, latunda's grandmother passed on June 17. She and I went to CA for the funeral while M stayed at my mom's house. I am *so* glad I went with her, it was nearly a nightmare. I'm glad that the trip had some positive parts, but I have to say, there's something really wrong with someone using a funeral service to push their own religious and/or sociopolitical views. Good to know L's family was trying not to laugh at him. What a jerk.

Enjoy the week off, hope the crafty stuff goes well. I have something I've been thinking about making, but I need to figure out how and if I even have the skills. @_@

What's really strange is that his statistic of 1 in 5 homes have a mother and father is, that with the majority of the population hetrosexual, this means it's their fault for those numbers...

I find your bent flap part hilarious.

(Then again, it might be because I've been in a tabletop group running B-17 missions, and my last run resulted in me managing to limp back to Britain with no starboard flap, no starboard aileron, missing half my rudder, inboard starboard fuel tank leaking, and number 3 engine off (it had to be feathered after running away).)

In 7 missions with a 10 bomber formation, we've had 4 shot down (One flak burst in Pilot Compartment, One fuel tank fire, Two electrical failures) and 2 written off (One landed hard enough to be a write off, One crashed on landing.) And we haven't even begun to venture out of Fighter Coverage range...
