Okay, I lied on twitter. I decided to read this tonight no matter what and I DONT REGRET IT lol.
This. Was. So. Beautifully. Written.
Oh my goodness, seriously! Aoi as death and Kai as his little beaming sunshine of life is just PERFECT ;____; And just reading about Aoi slowly falling in love with Kai and wanting to be able to hold him and kiss him and just asdfghjkl IT REALLY TUGGED AT MY HEART STRINGS OKAY???
This was just so...freshing to read. I know that sounds odd given the ending, but your flow was so nice here and I literally felt like I went through that year together with Aoi and Kai, y'know??
DAT ENDING THO!! Ruuuuude ;) You did make me tear up though, missy, so you got what you wanted! :P
I'm just saying, this works well as a oneshot for sure, BUUUUT....I see the potential for a sequel for sure bc...Aoi could meet a 'Yutaka' a long while later and this 'Yutaka' could remind him an awwwful lot of Kai :'D (IM HORRIBLE I KNOW BUT I DO ANYTHING TO GET MORE GOOD KAOI LOL) And really the thought of death meeting the love of his life

Aaaah, I'm really glad that you think it flowed well. I was a little bit worried that maybe it was a bit too fast paced and choppy >< I also worried that the ending was maybe a little rushed. So Im really happy to hear that you think it flowed well x3
