Hey at least you live in in the pacific Northwest. It my favorite part of the country. I'd move out there if my friends and family weren't out here on the east coast.
Well it's never late to pack up the car and drive out as far as you can go. Or take the Green tortoise across the country, a very cheep and fun way to travel. Those are the best type of vacations. It's also how I managed to make it across the country.
