As for writing stories and plays, I have many great stories that never escape my head. As for my song ideas, they sound much better in my head then they do on the four track.

I'm the same way,I know what I like to play but I don't always know what I'm playing. I don't even know all the notes the guitar and I've been playing for years. With time though things are starting to make more sense, I understand more then I did a few years ago.
