Have any of you read the Torchwood novels?

Are they any good?

Finished Another Life.

Reading Border Princes now.

The only problem I have with Border Princes is that they introduce a new character with no real background on how he got there (unless they do later in the book and I haven't gotten there yet, or there's a book between the two that I haven't found).

I liked Another Life. Had some humor, some cringe-moments from things that were happening, and a good insight into Owen of all people.

Border Princes I'm still on the fence about, but I don't hate it - just wish they didn't drop a new character in who is apparently a main part of the book (as a part of the team) without explaining why.

Hey, you're a busy girl, I don't expect you to read everything. :)

I'm mostly curious so I can check out their style and structure. I like the show, and the tone is similar to what I'm going for in Midnight Cross, so I thought the adapatations might be useful in that regard.

Shana and I still have three episodes left in Season One, so at the very least I'll hold off until we watch those.

Thanks for the comments!

I haven't read the novels - mostly since I write fanfic in the TW/DW universe I would rather read my work than non-cannon books.

Selfish of me, I know.
