Of Frocking, Shopping and Sloe Picking.

Earlier in the week I hatched an impromptu plan to go see katexxxxxx  in deepest Kent.  Partly social, partly to help her out with some frocking, and ask for her expertise and advice on a fifties dress for Allison, and partly because she had vaguely mentioned going to the Military Oddessey at Detling.  And because Kates place is a Nice Place to Be!

We've just put up some sloe gin, damson gin and blackberry vodka.. himself is now talking about using some of the strawberries in the freezer too!

Mmmmmmm Sloe gin. :) I'm just making redcurrant vodka for Yule. I'm told it ages beautifully but it's never had a chance here.
