Boss stood up to, help and a deadline extension for the Capital Bid obtained - Check!
Capital bid written (mostly by me), and feedback given by boss that it was "Good Stuff" - Check
Capital bid sent off with all accompanying documentation- Check
Nasty sore back which almost had me crying with pain yesterday much better - Check

BTW, R set off a while ago with pillows, and after raiding the zip stash. I raided his boot for fruit! ;)

I manage a huge barn of a Community Centre which has had hardly any investment for 20 years. They were going to close it down, until we ran a consultation where the public opted overwhelmingly to keep it, hence bidding for a share of the Council's Capital Programme. I was asked to submit a bid Tuesday last week, talk about deadlines!
