I was reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and found myself wondering why alchemy isn't taught at Hogwarts. I mean, it's been rather firmly established with the plot/title of the first book that alchemy exists. Is it not a respectable form of magic? I don't thinks that's it, what with the divination class. lol, if you say so, but I've been to some hideously dark corners of the interwebs. Not as much as some of the more intrepid, but still.

And Snape does potions. And the way they talked about Alchemy in the first book it seemed like it was a subject of study in and of itself. So it got me all silly and thinky. xD

omg, Part of me thinks that maaaaaaaybe she's lying. Emma did grow on me (at first she bugged me) but sometimes she does stupid things when she panics. Knowing Emma she's determined enough to find a solution that allows her to get an education. It's hard but I've seen it happen. Granted, it does require the aid of helpful professors and such but yeah.

My GOD I take Degrassi seriously...
