I saw a post somewhere fairly recently about how much negative magic we do on a regular basis with negative thinking. The examples given were more financial success type things, but it's definitely true in terms of love as well. While it's understandable to be unhappy when one's love life is not doing well, and to say so, people who are waxing bitter about a holiday aimed at celebrating love are not doing themselves any favors.

Also, this post is gorgeous writing!
