Dad told me this, actually: FedEx guys are actually all freelancers. Like cabbies, they own the trucks, own the uniforms, pay their own gas, etc, but get the franchise benefits for being called FedEx. They're pretty shitty, on the whole. Mom's also given these people an earful (and you know Mom), but they're pretty much like, "Eh, not our business. Talk to the driver."

Oh I totally would have, except FEDEX was the only option. Mother fuckers. Yea they delivery guys are contracted workers, which is really great.

I'm with you on this one, as Matt said. When he was waiting for his computer upgrade to be able to start his paying film transcription job, we had the door open so they would know someone was at home (both boys) and they never knocked or anything, just drove off after leaving the slip!! If the door is wide open, you don't put the box inside?? How retarded is that?!!

I know!!!!! Unbelievable!!! You'd think they'd want to get the thing off the truck. Stupid Stupid FedEx... I called them today like UM I DEMAND YOU BRING MY PACKAGE TO ME TODAY. And they were like ummm okay! Make sure you're home.
