ABARAI-TAICHOU. IS AMAZING. And I still love the image of him wiping things on his haori and Byakuya dying of pfffff- captain pride where is it. Plus, you know, you got the dialog down, and sarcastic!uncertain!crushed-yet-tough-cookie!Renji is great :D

KUROSAKI-TAICHOU. IS PISSED OFF AND ANNOYING BUT IC AND I LIKEZ THAT. I know he has his reasons, post-war and all, but I'm glad he decided to go back and made an Ichiface :D ... can I still cuddle Ren-chan?

He's all PFFFF and Ukitake is all PLAY NICE BOIZ and Yamamoto is like WTF DO MY MEETING ALWAYS END UP LIKE THIS? ... anyway. xD;; And akjsdfajsdf I'm so glad I pulled off a good Renji. *___* Since Ren is your favorite, I'm really pleased. :D I'll try to keep that up. :)

*coughs a bit* Actually, this isn't post-war. It's post part of the war, I guess, but the war is still sort of going on. Which is why Kurosaki-taicho (and Abarai-taichou) is needed. And duuuh I had to put in an Ichiface. Originally it wasn't there but then I felt he was too OOC. So yeah. ICHIFACE. xD

Oh thank god, yes. *so relieved* In the original draft it came off as Renji not really caring and I had to attempt to fix that without rewriting the whole beginning. I'm glad that it came through at least a bit. ^_^ I mean, the Rukia bit will come in a lot later, but I didn't want to start off sounding like I was one of those haters. xD; ANYWAY.

Exactly! The writers I respect the most are the ones that can pull off all characters without letting their personal bias interfere.

On the other hand, sometimes its harmless fun to read fics where there's some bashing. xD I must admit I definitely don't mind Yamamoto-bashing. xDD But reading fics for fun and lols is a different story than someone writing a serious fic but unreasonably bashing a character.
