Starting Term

I know that there aren't equal amounts of students in each house, but I would like to know how many of you wish to have term 1 begin.

There are not any new applications to this community at present, so to keep things fresh and moving we have the option of beginning term 1.

I think maybe you should try re-advertizing on the different HP communities, if you haven't already.

Also, I might be able to bring in one or two people, and I know someone else from my house might too.

I was considering re-advertising, but people seem to think I'm trying to promote elitism and have been spamming my inbox with all sorts of crap....

Have you tried posting it on forums other than ones on Livejournal?

It's fine with me. I doubt all the houses have even numbers anyway. I just cannot see the sorting hat saying "well, I've sorted 5 into Gryffindor, 5 into Ravenclaw, 5 into Slytherin, and 4 into Hufflepuff. You really seem like a Gryffindor, but I have to keep the numbers even so lets go HUFFLEPUFF."

That said, there may be a ton of older people (I know several I think would be interested) who are currently out of the HP live journal loop because of Pennsic which is over this coming weekend.

I think we should hold off a while, the houses are just pretty small still; even Gryffindor only has 8 people. Let's wait for some more people to apply, perhaps encourage people to advertise, and if things are still slow perhaps start on September 1 like the real Hogwarts does.

yeah, let's wait until I finish my history paper. :D kidding, kidding. I really should get started on that. (a Ravenclaw procrastinator?) Maybe we could wait a little longer and see what happens.
