Once again, I've procrastinated and let lots of screenshots build up in my folder. When I finally decided to go through them this time I had around 200 screenshots to go through so it took awhile to weed out what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to put on here. I had so many I'm gonna end up splitting this into 2 updates, so here is part 1:

If there was one thing I would have liked to do more of in XI, it was Assaults. Those were pretty much the last fun thing for me. I haven't really looked into the newer stuff in Assault tho. I don't recall doing anything past the 3rd sets of assaults, I think?

I really enjoy assault too. Some people find it repetitive and boring but I really like activities where I can clearly see the reward I'm getting, plus I think assault is fun. Unfortunately, I can never seem to find an assault set that stays together so I do it for a couple weeks then go months without touching it.

Hmm, I dunno about unheard of, it's relatively common for lower levels but extremely rare for higher levels. I mean I've had short crafting sessions where I'd be 4/6 or 5/8 or something which is pretty nice but never such a long session of awesome skillups like that. And if there is some sort of pattern I havent been able to figure it out. I've tried crafting in certain moon phases, certain days, certain times of day and nothing seems to show me a pattern. The session before those screenshots I crafted during Full moon Lightsday and went 9/18 on skillups with no breaks, which is pretty nice. Of course you see the results of my next Full moon Lightsday attempt... 0/10 or so on skillups with a couple breaks and 0/12 phantom earring hq's. So I dunno, it seems completely random to me.

Well, I'm sure it wasn't a matter of skill that kept you from killing it the first time, sometimes you just get unlucky. Grats on your kill though, someday I hope to take him down too :)

They've gotten good at avoiding mpk, they don't really do anything that gives me the opportunity to kill them
