So since it's my last day, I was reminiscing with some old friends from my CoP set and that got me to looking around my hard drive. I ended up finding some really old pictures, some of them from 2004 even. So I figured why not make an oldschool pictures post :D!

i think those days were the most fun. back when all the old school zen ppl were together. the pic of kenshi "gimp" was actually a huge improvement from when he first joined zen lol.

Yep yep, those days were a lot of fun. Never was the same once you, Ika, Max, moose, etc. left the shell and/or stopped playing. I guess it's just the way things happen when you have a big group of people together but it was fun while it lasted.

If I had to guess I'd say maybe we were killing Tzee Xicu placeholder, but I could definitely be wrong. Who knows, but it was fun whatever we were doing, I'm sure.

Yea, those guys always had something to say to make my day. Optimistic in the face of incredible odds and always something witty to say. Raekin and Kurai (before he levelled DRG) are the 2 funniest people I ever met in the game. And damn good at their jobs to boot.

CoP is one of the things that I missed a lot in FFXI. Not the tedious missions that makes you go around 2 hours for a cutscene, but the overall story and some of the fights were very fun.

Listening to a Final Fantasy concert (DVD) that contained an orchestral version of the CoP ending song, made me wish I recorded that ending on video :o

Yea, with CoP it always seemed like there was some epic challenge awaiting you around every corner. The running all across Vanadiel got annoying after the second or third time but at least the cutscenes were good, and the story was good. And when you got to the BC's they were unique and interesting. And they actually required *gasp* strategy and team work! And making things like Tav access, AH access, Riverne access, etc dependent upon completing missions and whatnot really gave a feeling of accomplishment to the missions. I mean, when I beat the third promy and landed in Lufaise I was really happy, felt like I really accomplished something. Whereas when I turned in that testimony and bam! heres Whitegate... well, I didn't feel accomplished at all. I mean, a lot of people gripe that CoP was hard but it really wasn't. The hard part for most people I think was finding a set party. If you could do that and the party members were mostly competent you were good to go. I really enjoyed the CoP missions, I was pretty disappointed in the end
