On the train this morning, we passed a parking lot with a huge pile of snow in it, and I found myself thinking, "...huh. I wonder if there's a car buried under there."

I can't wait for the warm weather.

They're generally pretty good about not getting cars caught under those piles. It's far more likely at this point to have become a thriving metropolis, many burrowed-out chambers connected by tunnels and holding a breathtaking new civilization which will die out as the spring comes.

We've had a little taste of warm weather this week - not warm-warm, but low 50s warm. It's delightful.

My uncle in Tampa posted photos on Facebook of him and his friends on the beach. It's in the eighties down there. Lucky bastards...
