amen to that. the way i see this whole downloading and burning music debacle is this; if i burn or download music and i really like it, then i'll make an effort to go out and buy it once i have the cash. then i'll hand over the burnt cd to a friend who i hope will appreciate it as much as i do and will do the same. if i burn a cd and it's total shite, i'll put it in the microwave to watch it spark, then throw it out the window. :P in other words, a band or artist has to impress me with their album nowadays in order for me to buy it. i think the only ones who really suffer from mp3 downloading and cd piracy are big name artists that are signed to big name record labels that RELY on people buying their albums on face value. also, small names now have the chance to get their music out there through the use of the internet and without the help of big record companies
