Knowing the bible, most of those quotes were taken from the Old Testament, and those were old rules that were written for the people of it's time. Which is why the New Testament was written. However, you have to take them for their text, and what the situation was at the time.
I think what God is trying to say is that a woman should not try to look like a man. She was born a woman and she should accept her womanhood, because God made her with a vagina for a reason.
As for the last part about "if the hair is meant to be short it whouldn't grow at all!" That's like saying, if God wanted us to be clean, we wouldn't have been born bloody. Ya know? Just my thoughts.
