cheshire23 and I spend our Fridays in the rural area southwest of Albany, NY doing disaster recovery work. It’s been a year and a half since Irene and Lee drove through the area, and while it looks nothing like what it did in the immediate aftermath of the storms, there’s still a long way to go. Most of the houses have been fixed and people have moved on
