:D

My primary partner has long hair. I love it. Being openly non-conforming opens a lot of doors. :)

(As a PS, I will note that the link you pasted into the topic thread has an extra " on the end of it-you may want to fix that and make it easier on people. :) )

It all depends on what doors you want open. Some of us prefer those doors to be open with people who don't necessarily look like we do :). Thanks for reading - and thanks for the catch! (Fixed.)

Heh. At this point in time I'm happy seeing people that look like me, but I'm not-white in a town that's 90% white. :)

I really enjoyed this insight into the world of long-haired men. I never thought about any special needs, although I have a long-haired daughter and know how long it takes her to wash it, and the shampoos/conditioners she needs. Me? Short hair, bargain shampoos. It makes life easier, but not as interesting, now that I've read your entry. Well done.

I am all about the all-in-one body and hair wash! I have a styling gel that keeps my frizzy under control, and I wouldn't have believed how well it worked until my stylist showed me. Thanks for reading!

Quite honestly, I've got a huge thing for men with longer hair. All of my favorite famous men tend to have lovely locks, and I've dated more than one guy with long hair. Definitely be proud of it if you've got it, and you love it. :)

Part of the plan is just in case that baldness thing happens to me is to have lots of pictures to remind everyone I had wicked hair. But Plan A is to have these wonderful silver locks as I age like fine wine. ;) Thanks for reading.

His father was quick to retort -“Yes, and they walked everywhere they went.”

Except for that time with the donkey. Other than that, this is a pretty good retort.

It's funny, considering how much of my life I've spent in a stylist's chair, how this interpretation of the topic had never once occurred to me. But now that it has, I feel a little silly for missing it.

The preacher was already riding his ass... *ducks*

My alternative topic for the week was confessions from the electric chair, but I decided I'd had enough of writing depressing crap lately. Thanks for reading!

Great insights into chosen non-conformities! My SO has a two-foot long beard and it goes a long way towards how he's perceived.
