I just looked it up on TVGuide.com, and they say he's going to be in Alaska with geese tomorrow night. They could be wrong, of course.

Yea, I noticed that too. They (discovery channel) have been wrong before. According to the tourism bureau, who passed out fliers to place on shop doors and counters, it's tonight. He's such a cutiepatootee!!! I saved a screen saver of him in his work duds while strolling up Main Street in front of my shop!!!!

Nope. The island ferry service stops from the lower peninsula on Oct 28th with only limited services from the upper peninsula, depending on wind and ice conditions, until around mid January. Basically, all the tourist shops shut down and the only fools on the island are year round residents and nuts who are willing to ride their snowmobiles the eight miles it takes to cross the ice and reach the island. I'll sub teach and suplament with unemployment.
