I had a friend in high school who grew up in
Crisfield, MD
, just on the MD side of the line. They were very proud of their first stop light.
However, the smallest town I've ever been in is
Slovak, AR
, which has no stop signs, about eight houses, one general store, and two churches.

Damn. There must be four families for each church. Can you NOT be religious in that town? I mean, it must be such a shame if you don't come to church... They'll really miss you.
