I don't do spoilers so the last few episodes have had my brain all explody all over my living room. The writers took it to a whole new very dark place. I've been prepared to play Dan as an ass and figured I could be ok in his brain being the bad guy...but well...I don't know if I can even follow where they've gone now

Unfortunately, I highly doubt that Dan shooting Keith was a dream. I don't think I can give you any ideas though... I've never been able to figure out the inner-workings of Dan's mind. He's just not logical.

All I can think of is...
Dan was going crazy thinking Keith tried to kill him, so he killed Keith so that Keith couldn't try again. In reality he was just jealous Keith was getting the life Dan wanted, with Karen and Lucas.

He killed his brother because of jealousy and revenge. In the end, I hope that Deb tells him the truth, she tried to kill him, not Keith.

Something really needs to be done about Dan. Either he can go to jail, or Deb can do the job that Lucas stopped her from doing with the fire. I hate when tv shows kill off main characters but in my book, Dan can go.

Yea, I don't think it's a dream either. If you're really having trouble, you don't have to roleplay as Dan anymore, I'd understand, it's suposed to be fun :)
