I'm with you on the change thing. I'm about to head into a major period of that in another month or so, leading to the other "c" word - chaos. It also leads to another word, coping, which is something I'm not doing so well.
Coffee. Love it. Need it. Drink waaaay too much of it.
Winter. We get them here, and I'm not a fan. In theory, they're beautiful and snow is fun, until I have to shovel out my car (and then pray it still starts.) I'm very pleased it's summer!
Celtic - I have a pretty cool celtic ring that I wear on my thumb. - I also wear a Celtic band on my left thumb and to my utter disbelief I saw that Claire had a very similar one on hers.
Water - We need it to survive and it's fun to play in. - I'm afraid of water, I can't really swim. But I dream of water very, very frequently - I wonder what it might mean? Not that I believe that dreams can have meaning at all.

I guess living in a warm place makes me tend to idealize snow. I don't have to deal with the downsides like you do....
