So my Mom has been very depressed ever since I announced that we are moving. She is going to miss me, miss the kids, miss Dan, and really miss having somebody she can talk to in person about her idiot husband, who she will soon be all alone with, because we will be a thousand miles away.

Anyway, today, she went to the hospital to get her blood drawn

I'm so sorry to read this. My dad is very depressed, as well. I asked the care facility to get someone in there to talk to him, and the first thing the IDIOT said was, "So, your daughter and the nurses think you're too afraid to walk. What are your feelings about this?" So, now he's depressed, paranoid, and resentful :( WTF? I really wish the medical community would get its act together and give people the help they need and not a bunch of BS that helps not a damn stitch.

I really hope your mom gets the help she deserves. And if you're still without wheels tomorrow night, I think I can drive down and give you a lift. I'd get there pretty late, but better late than never?

She was released yesterday, and we are picking up the car today, so I won't need a lift today. Thanks for the offer though! I hope your Dad gets better soon, and that he doesn't hold the counselor's poor choice of words against you all for too long... Hugs!
