Change

Its been a while since I stood inactive in LJ..
Wanted to jot down something but thought to try my hands on poetry (which had taken a loooong break too )
I notice that a lot of things around me have changed.

People whom I thought I knew very well,

Suddenly seem unfamiliar & even hard to gel,

Of course not all, but a few,

Some old; some, not so new.

Your post reminds me of what my friend had told a year ago. He was missing his friends from B'lore, his time with them, the laughter and fun they had. And he felt life in US has become a routine, no fun, fun was there but not the kind he had in B'lore...he had told that he felt it has been ages that he laughed with full-content.

However, when he went back for a visit, he felt everyone changed. People matured in different levels...once those who were in his circle are no more in there...they were there but felt thye did not belogn anymore...he came back disappointed actually.

Hopefully u get better and happier.

Yep...not all but a few changed in his circle. I suppose i changed a lot too compared to what I was a few years ago. LOL!

Interesting..
Thinking about it, I feel everyone has a similar tale. A tale that connects all.
True, people who seemed very familiar some time back no more seem the same. Probably, humans are designed that way as I don't see a different example anywhere anytime.
Changes do happen always. Just hope they always happen for the good.
