ya i know all too well abt this.... when it happened in my previous company... it was tension all around...and once the list came out...i just took they day off and came home... its not nice to see people who you work wit daily sent home like tat..

what was the criteria for the layoff in your company? performance, project based?

It was the project at the first level which got scrapped..
So, engineers in the team were moved to other teams but those who were a little high up were laid off..
