P.S. #1: Alex and I broke up on Saturday. There was nothing hateful about it, which I mention because the first question people seem to ask is if we hate each other now. Dude! I have trouble falling asleep without a fan on, too! Even if it's the dead of winter. Bad on the electricity bill.

Yeah man. It's not only peaceful, but it drowns out all other noise! Not needing the fan is a goal of mine because I want to learn how to be more in tune with my environment rather than trying to drown it out. But come to think of it, you're right, it does save energy. Brilliant!
