I had heard a lot of people say good things about "The Purpose Driven Life", a book by Rick Warren. Several churches I am aware of have used it book as a church-wide study. I ran across a copy in our bookshelf the other day, so I decided to read it ( Read more... )

Why am I not surprised?

I haven't posted anything to this journal since July 28. Last night, after reading that wonderful chapter in "The Purpose Driven Life", I thought, "I've got to share this with someone". It was close to midnight and my wife was already in bed asleep, so who was I to share it with?

Du-uh, I could post it on my Live Journal!

I should have known God wanted someone to see it.

Oh, and by the way, I've friended you back. Believe me, this lack was simply due to a knowledge deficiency on my part, not on any slight toward you. (I would have thought LJ would notify me via email or something when someone friended me, but I saw several people had friended me who I had not friended back. I've now rectified that situation.)
