Maybe a candidate who could actually empathize with our "enemies" overseas would be a boon to us in the upcoming decade as we try to extract ourselves from all the sticky messes we're involved in right now.
The problem with our society is we're convinced anyone that disagrees with us is an enemy. Or mostly, at least. It's the central seed of destruction planted in both Right and Left and Up and Down, because instead of being intelligent you assume the other side is out to destroy you.

Welcome to SPIN, folks. Two years out and it's only going to get worse. I'm not sure if this tops the 2000 rumors about McCain's "illegitimate black child" or not, but it's certainly a prime example of smear tactics.
Actually, you should send her CNN's take on the story; namely, that the school in question isn't (and wasn't) radical at all or even overtly religious.
