jason, his cousin, and his MOM died. jason's dad and brother are left behind. i just got off the phone with emma.. it hadnt sunk in what you told me on the phone because i was still asleep really and these things take a while to hit. omg, emma and the whole lot of them went over to jason's ("satoshi" / "toshi") house.. the day after they died. i cant even believe this. i liked toshi- i played basketball with him. his dad and brother are just.... emma didnt even know how to describe it. and jenny.. nobody knows what ot say to her. i think everyone who knew him will participate in "15 min" this year. ohh, if i could just get a glimpse of the driver of the car. i hope he lost his legs and his bowel control.

i agree with you melissa...next year is gonna be very emotional. and i agree with you too elise bout the Every Fifteen Min thing. and the driver was killed btw. but the newspaper said he was drivin a pickup and then it said that he was thrown outta a cab. so its very confusin but it does say he was 61 and that he died. anyway, jenna and i are thinkin bout gettin chris and jenni flowers. if you guys wanna come with call me

Yeah, right after I wrote this I found the newspaper that had more details. It's so sad to lose someone so close. It didn't really sink in with me at first either. But after reading the paper, the part where it said that they later died at the hospital, I couldn't help but imagine Jason in emergency... Sad images.

I wish there was something more I could do for the family but I think it may be best if it were just them and close friends right now.

I wonder how next year will be like without him... I hope everyone will cope with the loss.
