Good for you, Lex. I, myself, have never been one of those "love conquers all" types, but to each their own. If it makes you happy, go for it, hun.
But here's my two cents, as I inevitably give whether it is wanted or not. People can either be your friends, or your enemies. People can either be fun to "play around with", or not. Me? I like to combine the two, and avoid commitments of any kind, so nobody gets hurt. I don't know anything about the situation, other than what is written here, so all I can say for sure, Lex, is that you should definitely use a condom.
