cell popping!

i had cell popping done tonight at the dungeon...it looks great! i only have crappy pictures from my camera phone until i get the 'official dungeon photographer' pictures, and since i have a free account i can't figure the hosting...well, that and i'm too damn tired.

OK, I feel bad that I don't have any clue what cell popping is, even after looking it up on Wiki and Urban Dictionary, neither have a single references.

it's temporary branding-basically she used a cautery (have no idea how to spell that!) pen and burnt the top few layers of skin. it heals in a few weeks to six months on most people.

it's called cell popping because when the hot tip of the pen touches the flesh it makes a popping sound, which is because the fluid in the cell has burst.

it's actually about the same level of pain as a tattoo, and if you don't like the design you don't have to spend thousands of dollars getting it removed.
