We just did teacher evaluations too, and my math class had a similar reaction. The teacher left, and we all sat around and bitched about her flakiness. I wrote in the comments that I got an A- in the prerequisite, then I failed the first test of the semester which was REVIEW of stuff learned in the prerequisite, because she taught everything "the way I learned in high school, I don't know how to do it the new ways". LAME!

What sucks is that I don't even think teacher evaluations do anything in the end, especially if your teacher has accumulated tenure. And this year they changed the forms so that you had to write your names on them!! Why would a student be honest if you have to sign them?!?

that's fucked! i would write marilyn monroe or some other fake name.

i know the evaluations do basically nothing. they read them to see what they should change about the class next time and blah blah...

but i felt it was my one chance to bitch besides on my livejournal. and students who are thinking of taking a class can read them, so i want to get the word out that this prof/class blows ass and NO ONE should take it. i felt it was the least i could do... for humanity's sake.

Well, I left the name spot blank on most of them. But when I took one for my Intro to Psyche class, it wouldn't let me submit it without at least my initials!! So I put N.A. for NOT APPLICABLE bitches!!! Really.
