Well it's been a while, and I'm still not ready to discuss things I'd like to talk about. Sorry to hear of starshineway's mother's passing. What I want post about you may call me crazy for, but I just bought 4 bottles of my favorite off-the-shelf vinegar, Perel late harvest reisling vinegar, for $4 and change. That's a savings of $32. That was nice, thanks. You what stinks though, lj only lets me backtrack my friends page to 1/24. I'll have to stay more recent from now on.

I know just how you feel about not being ready to discuss things, especially somewhere quite so open as LJ, but you know my emails if you ever want to unburdon more privately. I know we both can be trusted like that.
Thanks for the kind sentiments about Mum, and yeah, the second parent passing is definitely harder than the first, not just because of all the complications about clearing their home etc., but emotionally too ... I guess one just has to work through it on a day-by day basis, and try to take pleasure in the little wonders one notices, despite the goldfish-bowl feeling ... like the fox in my garden who is tame enough now to just take note that I am there, but carry on with whatever he is doing regardless; and the girl I met at one friend's house for the first time Tuesday evening, (after I went round to thank the friend for supporting me at the funeral), who just turned up with flowers for me the next day, on a spur of the moment act of kindness and empathy ... well, perhaps the latter is not so small, but you know what I
