A chipmonk with rabbies?

I just witnessed the strangest thing.  A creature that looked like an off-color chipmonk approached me, almost menacingly, as I stood in my driveway.  It moved awfully funny, like maybe it had muscle problems.  I thought, poor sick thing, and as I walked away it chased after me.  I could only imagine this thing must be crazy with rabbies, so I just
