I learned Blackbird (Beatles) today. We've been doing a lot with scales lately, so this seemed appropriate. As soon as he started playing it, I knew it was going up the scale. It's a very pretty song, and it helps me work on my timing, too.

its fun to go all the way up the neck in that pattern and see what it does chordally...the thing seems to work all over the place
