Last two lines. So very true. I'm glad someone else sees it. I always figured these two would have to be good friends with eachother in order to stand being one of Azula's lackeys... er, friends. This chapter didn't disappoint at all, and I cannot wait for the next one!

Oh, wow. Just realized that you are Jojodancer from FF.net.

I always thought that Mai and Ty Lee would either have to be good friends, like how I'm doing it, or they just couldn't care about the other, in an effort to avoid any attachments for Azula to pick on.

I have the DVDs, only problem is that Season 2 isn't out yet in a full set and I'm writing at the end of Season 2. But do not worry, I shall let you borrow them as well give you your Christmas gift!

You have their characters perfectly here, especially the way they complement each other. I'm hoping to see more of this great writing in the future!

Thanks. I worried about not having Ty Lee in character, since I found it easier to write out Mai's POV.

Ty Lee chugging an entire pot of tea was HILARIOUS. I just had a great mental image of her challenging Iroh to a tea-drinking contest and winning.
