Did any one see last night episode of  "Are you smarter than a 5th grader"?

Well there was a guy on there that answered the first 10 questions correctly and won $500,000.
or he could chance it and go for the $1M question.

There were only 2 other people that made it to the $500,000 mark and left with the money.

But this guy took a change and lost big

My problem with the show is this: Yes, as a 5th grader I probably knew that stuff. It was drilled into us so we could pass tests. But now? I've replaced most of that knowledge with stuff that's useful to my adult life. So it isn't so much "are you smarter" but "have you retained stuff that you learned 20+ years ago and probably haven't used since?" Although it at least seems to attract a more intelligent contestant base than "Who wants to be a millionaire."

I like that show.
I know I'm not smarter than a 5th grader but I can stay up until midnight on a school night if I want too.
