I never thought it was possible. I don't usually put any stock in it or even think about it much, but today it was just awesome. I have never had such an experience before and the fact that I even took note surprises me. I had a good hair day.

Yay good coworkers.
So the guys I work with at the S&I (service and inspection facility) said that since I'd been there since midnight and it looks to be a slow day why don't you go screw...at 10am. One guy even gave me a ride to Andrews Square so I wouldn't have to wait for the 10:20 shuttle. I was supposed to be there till noon, but I'm home now ( Read more... ) -

Just walked in after a double at the railroad (technically a 1.5, federal regs and all) and I am dead. Its not the long day, I could deal with a 12 hour day. Its the overnight and working when I should be sleepin thing. Its 1 am only 5.5 hours till I'm off to work, and still can't get to sleep.
Sure does seem like a lot of rough nights have been going on lately. -

Good I need a new mattress. I can only ever fall asleep on my right side, and last night (just like many nights before) I awake to find my right arm hanging off the side of the bed. I seem to remember horrible stories from my younger days about the depths of hell from which audits came. Dark accountants lurking in the night, taking candy from babies and purses from old ladies.
