THE RETURN OF CTHULHUOnce you’ve been to Hell, there’s no way back, especially if you’re the monster Cthulhu. His true home was inside the brain of H. P. Bravo, bravo!! This is so imaginative and so fantastically well done, G. I think it's salable. Believe me, the Cthulu folks out there and there are a zillion of them, would adore this. So very very clever. I loled at all the asides, and marvelled at the sheer ingenuity of the thing. So impressive.

I hoped there were some readers who were familiar with Cthulhu out there. I think it works even if you've never heard of him before. I needed someone who could beat Satan at his own game and with all those tentacles, and he seemed like a fun candidate for the job, especially because he had to be willing to become a computer virus.

Thank you so much! I had the opening sentence and nothing more for the longest time. I'm glad you like the asides - they are generally the most fun to write. I thought it was time Satan was tricked by a contract, and who better to do it than Cthulhu?

Ha, nice.

I do wonder if any of the various literary versions of Satan are in that labyrinth, though... :)

Clearly you need to investigate and follow up! I'm really curious what he'd think about how John Milton wrote about him! :D

I saw Cthulu in the title and made this face 8D and I continued to make that face all the way through. This is so creative, funny and original. I absolutely love it!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I like to write light fiction, and Cthulhu seemed the best choice as leading monster.
