I got word that my car is going to be repaired with minimal expense because the warranty covered the main problem. All that I will be charged for is the routine maintenance. This is a relief because the funds are running low for me and I am in debt to the crooked tooth pimp for a plane ticket to NYC ( Read more... )

If I were you, I would scrap Manhattan and try to live in another burough, preferably Brooklyn. Queens is to far, the Bronx is a shitbox and Staten Island smells to bad, and that ferry ride adds up. My friends out in NYC all live in Brooklyn for the most part, and a lot of them have good jobs in the financial district, it is just a more cost effective way to get by in NYC, especially this winter. My sister lives in a brownstone in Murray Hill, and she is expecting to pay close to $350/month for heating and electric this winter, that on top of her $2800/month rent. East Harlem is actually a pretty safe place these days, but it is a hike, Brooklyn would be closer and a lot less expensive than east harlem. The Prospect Park area is real nice, not too expensive, and lots of folks in their mid-late 20's live there. Good luck though on the move, I lived in NYC until I was 23, and I have been living out here for the past 3 years, it's like a different world back there man.........

Happiness is a state of mind, not a place. You will find that your problems will follow you until you seek mental help. NYC is a filthy place, full of degenerates and bad energy.

New York is a magical place with an energy all its own that must me experienced. I am sure that the Hedgehog and Little Stallion will learn many great life lessons on this journey. I wish you much success. As to your Chit Scottie Freeman is looking for odd stuff for his new place. He is wanting to do it up carnival/freak show or 20's era film.

So Ray you think you might visit your long lost family once back on the east coast? It's been a very long time and you have many lil' cousins running around that would be glad to meet you. Between Steve, Erin and myself there is seven in all. Ranging from 2 months to 7 years and if I'm not mistaken you have never met any of them!!!! You fellas should take a road trip to the Nati when you make it to NY!
