Well, it's two days on and I still feel like shit. I haven't felt this dispirited over anything for such a sustained period of time since probably when I was dumped in yr 12 back in 2000. We'd gone out for two weeks. Time heals all wounds they say, I hope so.

Today I was at the foodcourt and I spotted an interracial couple. Not unusual in these days of racial harmony and a unison I'd be quite open to forming one day myself, since pretty much every ethnicity is blessed with its fair share of hotties. The other day I was trying to buy olive oil from Coles. It wasn't coming up on the scanner. The guy asked me how much it was, I was like "I dunno, I think four forty five." They're really expensive these days, and most people just look at them once, hardly even actually read what you've written, and then totally disregard them after that. I'm boycotting all forms of greeting cards from this day forth, except the lewd ones which make me lol.

When I reflect on my high school days, specifically my senior year, I can't help but be thankful emo didn't begin to become a mainstream form of youth expression until the year after I'd graduated. I caught up with an old friend of mine on msn last week. He's now working at Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's place). His job? Impersonate Mr Irwin. He tells me that people actually believe he's the real guy, usually japanese tourists.
