When I reflect on my high school days, specifically my senior year, I can't help but be thankful emo didn't begin to become a mainstream form of youth expression until the year after I'd graduated. Otherwise, who knows what kind of lame dickhead I might have been transformed into by the influences of popular teen culture. Thanks to my narrow escape
