While it's true that a disproportionate number of military casualties are rural low to middle class young people, there are plenty of ex and current military leaders who are pushing for the war. It's not all civilians who are making the choices as far as whether to continue the war or not. And keep in mind not all civilians are for the war, either [you're a civilian too]. A lot of us have been against it from the beginning, but not enough seemed to care in 2004 when bush was re-elected.
And you do have a say in what happens. Everyone does.
Vote! I'm not saying you should vote for Hillary or Obama or McCain, but you should become educated with everyone's policy and where they stand on certain issues, and vote accordingly. Tell your family, friends, etc. Volunteer, donate money, whatever.
