Gotta stop smoking

This post is longer than most of the essays I've done this year. Also, the movie discussed later called Munich opens sooner than I thought. Does anyone want to go see it with me on the 23rd? It may entail an adventure downtown. Eh ( Read more... )

before munich, we must see narnia and syriana. aeon flux blowed. thats not a word but it's appropriate in this situation. giant gorillas are not my friend. nic will probably want to see it though.

i have big fears about this superman film. i enjoyed the comic books as a young'un and his constant struggle with not actually being as perfect as everyone thought. if the movie is like that then i might enjoy it. kate bosworth though? fuck why do the leading ladies in the superhero films with xmen as an exception, suck? fuck kirsten dunst. no wait, don't. you'll get the black death (topical humor).

i am looking forward to the new x men but refuse to have any hopes, just in case. bigger cast though, it might be tough to pull off.

also, props on using paragraphs. i remember your old blog posts when you wrote one giant paragraph and i refused to read those.

In regards to the movies here are two options. We see narnia, then munich, then syriana. OR! we go and see them all ont he same day, only paying for one. What do you say? And yah I'm in no rush to see King Kong but the part of me that wants to see it wants to see it on the big screen.

I'm hoping that superman goes into the coolers side of the story. Kevin Spacey is Luthor, and like I said Bryan Singer is in charge, so shitty or not it won't be THAT bad. I have the feeling it's going to have some of the corny feel that the old ones had, only cleaned up a lot so that the cornyness isn't as dated. But if you watch the trailer, it really does look kind of epic, which is a good sign for comic book movies. And Kate Bosworth, I have no thoughts on her. She was good in Rules of Attraction when she had no lines but was on the top billing anyway.

And as for X-men, I have hopes, but not high ones. I'm looking at it so far like I did the first one, only with better feelings because a non-sucky base for the film has already been

mmm Tic tac...
This may get long just so you know.
King Kong can't wait. i LOVE the casting. When i saw the first teaser trailer I was drooling. i forgot that some of the cast so it took a while before i clued in. mmm Jamie Bell is so good, and i LOVE colin hanks, he will always hold a soft spot in my heat as he was Alex in Roswell i cried like a baby when he died in that show. Side note, the harry potter movies are crap compaired to the books! I LOVE those books as you well know

Superman Returns... I'm worried. I think it may be crap first another modle turned actor as Superman and Kate Bosworth. I can't stand her. So over rated. *shudders*
Marie-Antoinette sounds good, I've just started to learn about it.
X-men 3 Has me worried a bit. When the new director was announced most fans got worried. he has done so much crap! So like nationofcool above me I have dropped all expectations. The Phoenix saga would be very easy to fuck up.
